Joanna Woodd is our trustee who keeps our connections with members of our link dioceses as up to date as possible.   Revd. Alice, Mothers' Union leader in Marsabit Diocese in Kenya writes:

Hi my sister in Christ Joanna .I hope you are well in the Lord. We are also well here in Marsabit. Our women are also doing well. It is a great joy for me to remind you about the Church that I sent you pictures one time in the desert under a branch-less tree. It is my pleasure to inform you that coming Sundays bishop will be consecrating  the Church building there, PRAISE THE LORD our women will be worshiping under a shade now. It is our greet joy and thanks be to God and the friends who helped to put up that Church building.

Please keep on praying for our MU fund raiser on 12/3/2016.We will be happy if you join us in this project both in prayers and any other support that the Lord can show you. We intend to start an income project for MU.

Today I joined the bishop in the service for consecrating St. Barnabas Church at Tulbi. I was able to encourage the two women who joined the Church today. Formerly this Church did not have any women but only two youths and the evangelist. It was a miracle to get these two women and a few other members while the service was ongoing.

I encouraged them to remain firm in the faith although this is a Muslim dominated area. I assured them of our prayers and my intention to go back and be with them, as part of nurturing. I asked them to continue showing the love of Christ to everyone and by so doing some will be attracted to the faith. Please be praying for them.
